A certified Imagination Yoga® Facilitator takes a class of children on grand adventures as they imagine Yoga in the Castle, on the Farm, in Outer Space, etc. while learning beautiful Yoga poses and finding great concentration, relaxation and body awareness through visualization, breath, movement and music. Introduce your active child to the benefits of yoga as they build strength, balance and concentration through this fun and imaginative class. Watch as your child learns 20+ poses that have been designed with the interests and abilities of young children in mind. Imagination Yoga® is a fun way to introduce a child to the many benefits of yoga.
Imagination Yoga® was created by Portland based yoga instructor Jamie Hopkins. After many years working in child care, she developed this unique program that fuses her two loves: Children and Yoga into what is now known as Imagination Yoga®. Jamie has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is a certified Yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance. Jamie is an Imagination Yoga® instructor, as well as conducting all facilitator and child care center trainings.
